I like running – and tonight was maybe the best night this year for a long run. I have a goal to get my bodyfat percentage below 10%, and I think it is 15% at the moment ´cause my appetite has been through the roof recently. The reason is that I have been a lot in the gym the last couple of months – which causes a great appetite – but I haven’t done much cardio to counter act it.
I had perfect music for running in my ipod, and I think that very important in order to perform well. I have found that these songs are very good for my tempo and mood while running:
Tonight I ran 17 km (10,5 miles) and it is my personal record. The sky was clear and the temperature was perfect: 17 °C (63 °F). I did in 1:50 minutes, and burned 1391 Calories. I use the free Endomondo running app, and it is awesome to be able to monitor all this data including lap times, speed, geographic map etc.
Other tracks that are perfect for running are Cafe del maar, because the chilled style makes you kind of forget what you do, and just relax while running. I usually run by the water stream running through Aarhus, and it is a very beautiful route, so I like to listen to beautiful music too – kind of makes it all perfect 🙂
